How NOT to make it to the Race Course

After successfully avoiding rocks all summer as the water drained out of lake Massapoag, I find one in the ocean at Barrington!

  1. Since I moved to Rhode Island a few years ago and transitioned from being a mainly-lake sailor to sailing mainly on salt water I have discovered that God has put rocks on the bays in all sorts of surprising places. Some of them aren't anywhere near the shore! I have probably sailed mored days in Bristol Harbor than anywhere else since we moved, but I found a "new" rock there the other week.

The funny thing is that when I find a new rock and then look on a chart, I see that God has added the rock to the chart too. How strange is that possum?
